Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30-40 minutes
Serves: 12 to 24 depending on the size of cookie
Ingredients:
1/2 C. or 1 stick butter melted
1/4 C. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 C. graham cracker crumbs (roll the graham crackers under a rolling pin to get them nice and small) or buy them already crushed
1/2 C. chocolate chips
1/2 C. butterscotch chips
1 cup coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chopped pecan or walnut halves, coarsely chopped
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the melted butter into a 9″x13″ baking pan. Combine brown sugar and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl and sprinkle evenly over melted butter. Press evenly into the butter so it forms and even layer on the bottom of the pan. In layers sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and nuts evenly over everything. Make sure to keep the coconut thinner around the edges so it won’t burn. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven then allow to cool and cut into small bars.
Enjoy!
Christina’s Notes:
Go crazy with this one. Different items to mix and match: dried fruit, different kinds of nuts, caramel pieces, toffee pieces, different flavors of chocolate chips……etc.
