Ingredients:
2, 21 oz. cans fruit pie filling (whichever kind makes your heart go pitter patter)
1, 16 oz. package of oatmeal cookie mix
1/2 C. oatmeal
1/2 C. nuts (almonds, walnuts or pecans, optional) 1/2 stick (melted) + 4 T. Butter,
What to do:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Lightly oil or spray an 8×8 or 9×13 baking dish. Spread pie filling in bottom of prepared dish. In medium bowl, combine cookie mix, oatmeal and nuts with melted butter. Sprinkle cookie batter evenly over pie filling then dot you’re 4 T. of butter on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until fruit is bubbling and topping is brown and golden.
