Ingredients:
1/2 C. butter
1/2 C. flour
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
4 C cold beef broth,
1 T. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Juices from meat, option (add a teaspoon or two of any meat juices)
What to do:
In a sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat then add onion powder, garlic powder, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Stir them together enough to fully combine. Add the flour and whisk continuously for 5 minutes. The mixture will thicken slightly. Whisk in a cup of the cold beef broth and any meat juices that you might have. Bring gravy to a simmer while whisking. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes while stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
