Ingredients:
1 lb. Italian Mild Ground Sausage
1/2 C. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
2 (5.2 oz.) packages Cream Cheese Garlic & Fine Herbs Flavor
1/3 C. mayonnaise
3 oz. sun-dried tomatoes, chopped, 2 oz. for garnish, chopped
3 T. shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish
1 tsp. Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp. for garnish
Baguette, sliced
What to do:
In a nonstick skillet, cook Italian sausage and onion until nicely browned, breaking it up into small chunks as it cooks. Remove from heat and drain any fat.
In a large bowl, blend cream cheese, cream cheese with herbs and mayonnaise until well combined. Add sun-dried tomatoes and seasoning and continue to mix, add in cooked sausage mixture.
Add mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and the extra sun dried tomatoes. Bake for 25 minutes until top is golden brown. Serve with a baguette.
