Fills roughly a 12-oz mason jar
Ingredients:
Dehydrator
4-6 cups mixed tomatoes (cherry, Roma, beef steak etc. or they can be all the same type), halved or sliced
Coarse salt (optional)
What to do:
Arrange the sliced tomato halves cut side up on each dehydrator tray. Lightly salt the tomatoes if you wish. This is where you want to follow your dehydrators instructions. The larger slices will probably need more time then the thinner ones. They should be slightly flexible and not so brittle they’ll break. Just nice, dry and wrinkly; somewhat like a fruit roll-up consistency. Store in a tightly sealed jar in the fridge or freezer or 6-9 months!
