At Farese, they are as passionate about food as they are about wine. They press their own award-winning olive oil and even employ a full-time pasta chef to feed hungry winemakers. Their Montepulciano is made to be enjoyed with rich, meaty pasta, or perhaps a hunk of Parmesan. Others are pizza, bacon, onion, pepperoni and plain cheese……Villa Farnia will complement them all.
The aroma is of ripe plums, blackberries and licorice, lifted by subtle hints of violet. The taste is velvety smooth with plummy richness and, again, those attractive licorice notes.
