This is a family favorite, it is a beautiful dish with many colors and full of flavor. Warning, it is addictive. It is so simple to make and uses very few ingredients that you will add this to your go to side dishes for meals all year long!

Ingredients:
6 slices or more of chopped bacon
1 large onion, diced
1 large head cabbage, cored and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
What to do:
Place bacon and your chopped onion in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until the bacon is crispy and some of the onion is tender and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
Toss in the cabbage, and cook for another 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes more or until cabbage is tender and to your liking.
