Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
Serves: 6, two per person
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. deli honey ham, cut into fourths
1/2 lb. deli Swiss cheese, cut into fourths
1/3 C. mayonnaise
1 1/2 T. Dijon mustard
1/2 C. (one stick) butter melted
1 T. onion Powder
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. (12 count) sweet or regular dinner rolls
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350*.
Cut rolls in half and spread mayo onto bottom half of the rolls. Place 1-2 slices of ham (depending on the size of your slices) and 1-2 slices of Swiss cheese on the roll. In a medium size bowl mix together, Dijon mustard, melted butter, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce. Spread some of the mixture on the bottom tops of the dinner rolls, replace tops back on the sandwich and bunch them closely together into a foil lined 9×13 baking dish. Pour the left over sauce over the rolls (optional), just covering the tops. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Uncover and cook for additional 2 minutes until tops are slightly browned and crisp. Serve warm.
