Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 25 depending on size
Ingredients:
Butter or cooking spray for the pan
2 C. sugar
1/2 C. whole milk or heavy cream
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 C. creamy peanut butter
What to do:
Butter or spray an 8-inch baking dish
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar and milk or cream to a boil, stirring constantly so it won’t burn. Once bubbles form though-out the entire mixture, continue boiling for exactly 2 1/2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and the peanut butter. Blend will with a wooden spoon, stirring quickly (this can set up fast) until smooth. Pour into the buttered or sprayed dish and smooth the top. Let cool completely before cutting into pieces. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Depending on the size pieces you want I usually get around 25.
