Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 -15 minutes
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 C. crumbled blue cheese
1/2 C. blue cheese dressing
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 T. Worcestershire
Salt and black pepper
3 lettuce leaves
3 slices tomato
3 slices red onion
3 hamburger buns
What to do:
Place hamburger in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce; mix well with a fork or your hands.
Divide meat mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a 3 1/2-inch patty. Spoon 1 tablespoon blue cheese in the center of each of 3 patties; top each with 1 remaining patty, pinching edges to seal.
Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Remove from heat; keep warm.
Top hamburgers with blue cheese dressing, lettuce, onion and tomato, top with hamburger bun and enjoy!
Christina’s Notes:
For even more flavor butter your buns and grill them on the grill, you won’t be sorry. Add whatever toppings make you smile, like avocado, jalapeño, and even grilled onions
