Ingredients:
6 strips bacon, diced
3 tablespoons flour
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 C. milk
1 C chicken or vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste
2 (16 oz.) packages frozen cut green beans, thawed or 2 cans drained
1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

What to do:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Cook, stirring often, until crisp than move the bacon to a plate lined with paper towel to catch the extra grease.
Sprinkle the flour, garlic powder and onion powder over the bacon grease and whisk to combine. Cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly. Gradually whisk in the milk and stock then add the bacon. Stir until the mixture has thickened to gravy consistency. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large bowl combine the gravy mixture and 1/2 C. fried onions with the green beans, tossing to coat. Spread evenly among a greased 9 by 13-inch baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until down. Top with shredded cheese and fried onions, put back into the oven and bake until cheese has melted and onions are golden brown.
