Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 T. butter
4 bolillios buns
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 T. sage
1/2 pound thinly sliced duck, turkey, ham whatever meat you desire
1 C. stuffing
1/2 C. cranberry sauce or gravy
Spinach leafs or lettuce
1 C. aged white cheddar
What to do:
Build your sandwiches, first spread the mayo on the bottom bun than sprinkle some sage on it. Next layer your meat, stuffing, cranberry sauce or gravy, spinach or lettuce and then your cheese. Put top bun back on and it’s done!
If you have a Panini presses follow the manufactures instructions if not I use tin foil and a heavy object. Place your sandwich in the skillet and cover it with foil and then the heavy object goes on top. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet and carefully transfer sandwiches to skillet. Grill sandwiches on both sides until cheese is melted, spinach is slightly wilted, and bread is toasted to golden-brown. Don’t forget to do the other side. Slice sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
