Serves: 12
Ingredients:
1⁄2 cup butter, melted
3⁄4 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons baking powder
What to do:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then blend in cream corn. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
