Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients:
1 lbs. frozen hash browns
1/2 C. margarine or 1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (10 1/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup or to make your own go to www.cooknwithmrsg.com
2 cans of milk
1 pint sour cream
1/2 C. onion, peeled and chopped
2 C. cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 T. garlic powder
1 tsp. dry mustard
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Spray an 11 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Mix the above ingredients together, place in prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until brown on top. I sometimes will put the broiler on for the last couple of minutes to get that cheese brown and bubbly. Yum……yummy!!!!
Christina’s Notes:
You can make it a day ahead and then pop it in the oven in the morning. Also, don’t be afraid to add some meat to this dish: ham, sausage or bacon.
