Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 20 with a 1, 1/2 inch scoop

Ingredients:

1 egg

1/2 C. Water

3 T. Oil

1 Package devil’s food cake mix (regular size)

1/4 C. All purpose flour

1/2 C. Or more of powdered sugar

What to do:

Preheat oven to 350°.

Spray cooking spray on two cookie sheets, set aside.

In a large bowl, add egg, water, oil, cake mix, and then flour; mix well. Place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheets; they don’t spread much at all. Next, with a small sifter filled with your powdered sugar, shake over the cookies, making sure to get a good dusting—you really can’t overdo it. Bake for 12-14 minutes (ovens vary) or until firm. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely.

Above 7,000 feet in elevation, add an extra 1/4 cup flour. Bake for 13-15 minutes.
