Ingredients:
1 lb. cooked, crumbled or chopped kielbasa, ground turkey, chicken or hamburger
5 carrots, chopped
2 onions, chopped
2 (16 oz.) cans chopped tomatoes, with liquid or 2 cans of diced tomatoes with chilies
1 large head cabbage, chopped
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 (15 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
2 quarts low sodium hot and spicy V-8 Juice
2 green bell peppers, diced
5 stalks celery, chopped
1 (14 oz.) can low sodium beef broth
What to do:
Place all your ingredients in a large stock pot and simmer until vegetables are tender about 45 minutes. This makes a large pot and can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
