Ingredients:
4 slices of rye bread
2 T. butter
4 T. Thousand Island dressing, to make your own go to www.cooknwithmrsg.com
1 lb. corned venison, to make your own go to www.cooknwithmrsg.com
1 C. sauerkraut, drained
2 slices Swiss cheese
What to do:
Butter one side of each piece of bread. Place butter side down in a skillet on med to med-high heat.
Spread ½ T. of the Thousand Island dressing onto each of the top sides of rye bread. Now layer your corned venison, sauerkraut and cheese, finish with the rest of the dressing then butter the other side. When one side is golden brown, carefully flip to cook the 2nd side (just like a regular grilled cheese sandwich). Sandwich is done when cheese is melted and both slices of bread are golden brown.
