Prep Time: less than 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
2 T. olive oil or cooking spray
2 tsp. garlic Salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
2 lb fish (any fish that you and your family like to eat)
What to do:
Combine in a small bowl garlic salt, paprika, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper and thyme.
Mix it together and rub mixture on both sides of fish. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Spray skillet with non-stick cooking spray or add olive oil and add fish.
Cook 5 to 8 minutes on each side (depending how thick your fish is), or until fish flakes easily with a fork. No part of it should be translucent. Enjoy immediately with veggies and/or pasta. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley
