Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20-30 minutes
Serves: 24 or so, this depends on the size of the Jalapenos
Ingredients:
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 C. pepper jack cheese
1 lb. jalapenos, seeded and cut lengthwise
1 pkg. little smokies, polish sausage style
1 lb. bacon, cut into half
What to do:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a medium size bowl combine garlic powder, onion powder, cream cheese and pepper jack cheese, mix well. Fill each jalapeno half with about 1/2 tsp. of mixture, then place 1 sausage on top of the cheese mixture next wrap with a piece of bacon (you can use a toothpick to help keep the bacon in place). Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes until nice, bubbly and the bacon is golden brown. If you want your bacon crisper put them under the broiler for a few minutes.
