1 C. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. of cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 C. minced onion
1/4 C. sour cream
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1-2 C. mozzarella cheese
What to do:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl combine the cottage cheese, cream cheese, onion, sour cream, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Pour 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9×13 dish, next layer with half of the frozen ravioli, half of the cheese mixture and 1/3 of the sauce. Layer the other half of the frozen ravioli, remaining cheese mixture and the rest of the sauce. Cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 30 -45minutes. Remove tin foil and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese continue to cook for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts. Sometimes I will turn on the broiler at the very end for a minute to brown the top a little bit faster.
Christina’s Notes:
To make this saucier add another jar of sauce, and feel free to add more cheese in between the layers of ravioli. If using refrigerated or fresh ravioli you will have to adjust the cooking time, usually by half.
