Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 red or green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cans great northern beans, drained
2 cans navy beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1/2 C. barbecue sauce
1/4 C. molasses
2 T. apple cider vinegar
1/2 C. ketchup
2 T. spicy brown mustard
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. soy sauce
4 T. brown sugar
1 to 1/2 lb. bacon, cut into pieces and cooked
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large Dutch oven or casserole dish, combine all ingredients. Sprinkle some of the bacon pieces over the top of the casserole for garnish. Cover the dish and bake for 40-50 minutes. Remove the cover and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Let dish sit for 10 minutes before serving.
