Serves: 2-4
Ingredients:
1 pkg. flat bread (four pieces per pkg.)
1/2 C. pesto sauce
2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 C. cooked chicken, chopped into bite size pieces
2 peppers (red, yellow, orange or green), chopped
1/2 C. sliced black olives
1/2 C. grated parmesan cheese
Fresh chopped basil for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
What to do:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees or outside grill to 350 degrees.
Spread pesto sauce over flat bread, layer peppers, chicken, mozzarella cheese, olives and sprinkle with parmesan cheese; salt and pepper to taste.
Oven Directions:
Place flat bread on middle rack and cook for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown. If you don’t want your oven messy place flat bread on cookie sheets treated with cooking spray. Let cool for 2-4 minutes, garnish with basil, slice and serve.
Outside Grill:
Lightly brush grill racks with olive oil and place flat bread directly on grill. Grill flat bread pizza for 5- 10 minutes or until the toppings are cooked through and cheese is melted and golden brown. Garnish with basil, slice and serve.
