Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
2 T. Italian seasoning
1 C. parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
2 cans of pizza or biscuit dough cut into quarters
1 – 24 oz. or so, jar of pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1/2 green pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 C. sliced black olives
1 – 8 oz. package of pepperoni cut in half
2 cups Mozzarella cheese or any cheese you desire
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Treat your pizza pan with cooking spray.
In a small bowl mix together Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and onion powder.
In a large bowl place cut dough, add your seasonings and mix well making sure to try and coat every piece of dough. Next, add your pizza sauce, diced pepper, onions, olives, pepperoni, and 1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Stir gently to combine.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is brown and the center is thoroughly cooked, top with remaining cup of mozzarella. Place back into the oven until melted and golden brown, you can also put this under the broiler for a couple of minutes to speed this along. Serve with a side sauce and enjoy!
Christina’s Notes:
Be sure to check it in the middle before you pull it out. If the middle is still not cooked thoroughly be sure to leave it for another 5 minutes at a time until it’s done. Other possible add-ins: pineapple, ham, anchovies, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, hamburger, spinach, hot banana peppers, roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, jalapeno peppers…etc.
