Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
3 Tortillas or flat bread
2 cans of tuna, drained
1/4 C. mayo or mayonnaise, more depending on taste
Lettuce
Any kind of vegetables you desire, they must be cut thin so you can roll your sandwich
Cheese (optional)
What to do:
In a small bowl combine your tuna and mayo, mix well.
Lay out the tortillas or flatbread and spread a layer of your tuna mixture, making sure to stop at least half-inch to the edges. This will help to make sure that the spread doesn’t ooze out once you start to roll. Now layer your lettuce and then the rest of the vegetables.
Starting at one end of the tortilla or flatbread, roll tightly towards the middle. Continue rolling until the filling is tightly wrapped and squeeze the roll a little this will help keep the roll up together. Continue with the remaining tortillas or flatbread until all have been assembled. Eat right away or wrap each tortilla or flat bread roll up tightly in plastic wrap. Chill the wrapped roll ups in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes and cut into 1, 1/2 inch segments for a fabulous appetizer.
Christina’s Notes:
Trying adding some add-ins to the tuna mixture, like dill, chopped jalapenos, green onion, and regular onions….etc.
