Ingredients:
2 T. of salted butter
1/2 C. onion (chopped fine), or one small onion
1 C. long grain white rice
1, 1/2 C. chicken broth
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
What to do:
In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in onions, season with salt and pepper, cook until lightly browned. Next, add in the minced garlic and cook for one minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil then add in rice. Bring to a slight boil and then turn the heat to low. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 15-20 additional minutes, or until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork.

This is the best recipe for add-ins……mushrooms, spices, herbs, nuts, fruit, etc. Anything goes!!!!!
