What…..I know, I really wasn’t sure about this one either…it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had!!!! My husband had one of these beauties once when he was out of town and would talk about it quite often. So, I decided to recreate it from his stories he told. Peanut butter on a burger sounds strange but trust us; you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. It’s sooooooo delicious!!!!!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5-10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef divided into fours
Meat tenderizer, to make your own click on this linkhttp://cooknwithmrsg.com/2016/06/16/meat-tenderizer/
1/2 lb. or so cooked bacon strips
4 fried eggs
Peanut butter
What to do:
Toast up your buns and set aside, then shape your divided beef into hamburger patties and brush on meat tenderizer. Grill for 5-10 minutes on each side depending how well you like them done. Next it’s time to build the burger, first the bottom bun, hamburger patty, egg, bacon than finally, the top bun smeared with lots of peanut butter.
Christina’s Notes:
Additional toppings: jalapenos, red onion, lettuce, cheese, hot sauce….etc.
