Peanut Butter Pie

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients:
1 graham cracker or chocolate pie crust
1/3 C. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) whipped topping, thawed
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature
1 C. powdered sugar
1 C. creamy peanut butter
Chocolate syrup for garnish
1/2 C. chopped nuts for garnish
1/2 C. toffee bits for garnish
What to do:
In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave in increments of 30 seconds until fully melted. Pour the melted chocolate in the bottom of the pie crust and spread into a thin layer. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar and whipped topping, using an electric hand or counter mixer, mix on low speed until well incorporated. Pour peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer. Drizzle chocolate syrup, nuts and toffee bits on the top of the pie for garnish. Store in refrigerator for 2 hours and serve chilled.
