Serves: approximately 50, 1 inch balls
These no-bake rum balls are melt in your mouth deliciousness!!! They’re a rich, boozy, and decadent treat that’s perfect for fall or anytime of the year, especially on your holiday cookie tray.
Ingredients:
12 oz. Crushed vanilla cookies, graham crackers or ginger snaps etc.
1 ½ C. Flaked coconut
1 C. Chopped almonds, walnuts, pecans or any nut you desire.
1 (14 oz.) Can of sweetened condensed milk
1/4 C. Rum or bourbon, pick one you enjoy drinking
1/2 C. Powder sugar
2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Ground nutmeg
What to do:
In a large bowl combine the first five ingredients., mix well. Chill for a minimum of 4 hours. In another bowl combine powdered sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Roll mixture into 1 inch balls. I use a 1 inch scoop for this task. Then place rum balls in the powder sugar, coat well. Place in fridge overnight before serving. These tend to get better if they set a few days in the fridge. I think it let’s all the flavors melt together and blend. Enjoy!!!
