This Beer Cheese Dip is a ranch-flavored pub-style dip that takes just minutes to make and is a must-have at any party. It’s perfectly paired with pretzels, chips or your favorite crackers. I’m forewarning you, it’s hard to stop eating once you’ve started!.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 10 servings
Ingredients:
16 oz. Of softened cream cheese
1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, or any cheese you wish. I love pepper jack with this.
2 pkg. Of powdered ranch dressing, homemade or store bought
1/2 – 3/4 C. beer
1 tsp. Garlic powder
2 green onions chopped, extra for garnish
Potato chips, crackers or pretzels for dipping
What to do:
Combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, beer, garlic powder, and green onions.
Cover and let set at least a few hours, overnight is the best. This is one of those dipps that the longer it sets the better.
Garnish with green onion and your dipping vessels.
Christina’s Notes:
When it comes to beer use your favorite. Lager, pilsners, and lighter beers make a mild dip. Beers like stout, dark lagers, porters, or schwarzbiers will give the cheese dip a stronger flavore.
