Ingredients:
1 1/2 C. graham cracker crumbs , about 12 full sheets, crushed
1/3 C. granulated sugar
6 T. butter , melted
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix up those graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a medium size bowl. Easy peasy!
If you’re using full-size sheets, toss the graham crackers and sugar into a food processor. Pulse until it’s almost like a slightly larger than powder, then add the melted butter and blend until it’s all mixed together.
Pour the crumb mixture into an 8″ – 9.5″ (I use a 9″) pie pan and then just use the back of a measuring cup to firmly press it in the bottom of the pan and a little bit up the sides.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Christina’s Notes:
Swap out graham crackers with: Digestive biscuits, vanilla wafers, crushed gingersnaps, flavored wafer cookies, crushed cereal (like chex or cornflakes), or crushed ice cream cones. You can also try different flavored graham crackers like chocolate, honey, or cinnamon. Get creative and have fun with it!
