Ingredients:
1 T. avocado oil
1 large onion, diced
2 lbs. ground beef
3 tsp. garlic, minced
1 (29 oz.) oz. can tomato puree
1 (29 oz.) oz. can crushed tomatoes
3 C. beef broth
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
2 T. Italian seasoning
2 bay leaves
3 C. uncooked macaroni noodles
cheddar cheese for garnish
What to do:
Add avocado oil to large pot over medium-high heat. Add in the onion, ground beef, Worcestershire Sauce, soy sauce, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and bay leafs. Cook until beef is no longer pink than add in garlic and stir until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Combine your tomato puree, crushed tomatoes and beef broth, cover and cook on low for 5 to 10 minutes. Add your noodles, cover and simmer on low stirring occasionally making sure to add more beef broth if needed. Remember to take your bay leafs out …lol and garnish with cheddar cheese and enjoy!
