Ingredients:
1, 14 oz bag sweetened coconut flakes
2 cups chocolate chips, semisweet, dark chocolate, M&M’s, etc.; it all works.
2/3 cup chopped, lightly salted almonds. If you don’t have lightly salted, add 1/4 tsp salt or no salt at all. It just adds that extra yum!
1, 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk; regular or fat-free works.
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 325°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. In a large bowl, combine coconut, chocolate chips, almonds, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed throughout. Scoop out dough with a cookie scoop onto the prepared baking sheet. Moisten the tips of your fingers with water and pat the tops flat. Bake cookies for 12 to 14 minutes (high elevation 20 minutes; this will also depend on your oven). Just watch until the tips of the coconut are just starting to turn golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet. Store cookies in an airtight container.
