Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 16, this will depend on the size of your bars.
Ingredients:
2 C salted peanut butter (if not salted, add a 1/4 tsp.)
1/2 C + 2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 C oat flour
Chocolate Topping:
3 T. Peanut butter
1 ½ C. Chocolate chips (dark, semi, sugar free, it’s up to you)
1/4 – 1/2 tsp. salt, sea salt, kosher, or optional
What to do:
Butter, grease, or use parchment paper to line an 8 x 8-inch pan; set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, and oat flour until well combined. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
Chocolate Topping
In a microwave-safe bowl, toss in, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Pop it in the microwave on low for about 2 to 3 minutes, giving it a stir every 30 seconds. Keep going until everything is melted and nicely combined. Drizzle that chocolate goodness over the bars and spread it out evenly. If you want, sprinkle a little salt on top. Then, stick the bars in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the chocolate to harden before you slice them.
