Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 12-15 minutes
Serves: This will depend on how big you make your cookies. You will get about 21 to 24 using a small cookie scoop.
Ingredients:
1. C. Salted or unsalted butter
1/2 C. Powdered sugar
1/4 C. Cornstarch
1 1/2 C. Flour
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
What to do:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, whip your butter until light and fluffy. Add in your powdered sugar, cornstarch, flour, and vanilla extract and incorporate them. Using a small cookie scoop, lay out your cookies on a cookie sheet. Take a fork lightly dusted with flour and gently press each cookie down. Now, this is where it gets fun! You can use sprinkles, half a cherry, chopped nuts, or whatever you fancy to put on top. Bake them for 12 to 15 minutes; you don’t want to overbake these. Once cooled, drizzle, dip, or bottom-coat your cookies in chocolate (the chocolate you prefer) if you desire.
