These snickerdoodles are so good! They’re sweet, chewy, and rolled in cinnamon sugar. They’re baked to perfection and are a classic dessert!

Ingredients:
1, 2/3 C. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. butter room temperature
3/4 C. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Sugar Coating:
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix the 1/3 cup of sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and cover them in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place the balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and lightly flatten them. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
